The goal of Marketbee is to help our customers to successfully manage their product development process. Over the course of thousands of enterprise information systems implementations we saw how the research, development and engineering groups occupy a singular niche. We found what hundreds of case studies had already indicated; this critical activity remains largely isolated from the rest of the enterprise. We also saw that while there were many tools to support the tactical goals of engineers and scientists doing development work, none of these provided a solution to help manage the total ark of the design process. Since the development process can account for over 70% of product cost and 30% of TTM, the lack of effective management tools is quite costly. Based on our experience, we understood how smart integration of key elements was needed to transform haphazard management processes into more efficient and controllable processes. By tying these elements of product development into a single, easy to use application, we deliver dramatic benefits to the time- and cost-conscious leaders of today's product development initiatives.
